I purchased this from Tigerdirect and reviewed it there but I will also review it here. I was skeptical of the price also and was purchase for one seventy nine there as well but it has been a great monitor. There were some negative reviews there as well but you get a bad lemon out of every bag. Saw this monitor in action connected to my grandsons PS3 and I had to have one. Connected it to my PS3 and it made playing games (BFBC2 & BF3) a lot better, I could see things that I could not see on a LCD tv, graphics are awesome. I was looking for a good monitor to complete my computer build and i found it. I got this monitor because it had a built in webcam, and i wanted a huge monitor since i have been looking at little laptop monitors for the last 5 years. This monitor works really well, and the webcam works like a charm. I have been using windows 7 for the last few months, and it works great with skype.I recently "hackintoshed" my computer, so now i have both windows 7 and osx snow leopard. I noticed that when i use iChat to video chat in osx, everything appears darker. I am not sure if this is an issue with the webcam, low lighting, or how the software handles the image. my guess is the latter, since everything works great in windows. This product is only listed as pc hardware, but the webcam does work in osx, and the monitor works perfectly.

Very pleased with the new computer monitor.The previous one malfunctioned and had to be sent back.
I was delighted with the quick delivery of the new one and the refund for the old one, which was still under warranty.
I find I am checking on Amazon first for almost everything I buy - the service and prices cannot be beat!
